homemade food for Lola

Recently, I start cooking homemade meal for Lola using chicken & brown rice mainly. I reduce the commercial dry dog food, and add in this fresh cook meal. She loves this so much. And the biggest advantage is I know this is a nutritious and chemical free meal which is good for her health.
Would like to share my recipe here:

Ingredient: chicken, salmon fish, pork, celery, carrot, cabbage/cauliflower, brown rice, white rice.

Method:
Firstly, boil the chicken, fish and pork in a large pot. Then use this chicken stock to cook rice (brown rice + white rice). Spare some stock for boiling all the vegetable. Debone the chicken and salmon fish.
Put everything aside to cool to room temperature.
Lastly, mix everything together and yummy homemade dog food is done!
Pack them separetely for every meal, and put in the freezer. Defrost them for every meal later.

Demolishing a carton

This was what happen when Lola found an empty carton in my house. Yeah yeah.. she is a great helper, helping me to tear the carton in pieces, making it easier to throw it away. Ah... that means I was not supposed to complain much about this messy floor, wasn't it? hahaha.. I feel like a fool.

Lola Enjoyed The Wave

Lola started her first move, walking into the sea. She was there enjoying the waves come and go.

Lola Went To Beach

We have always want to let Lola try her swimming skill. All the while, searching for a suitable spot for her to swim. Finally we find a quiet beach where we can let her swim freely. When she first arrived at beach, she felt hesitate to step on the seaside, as the sand will be brought away by waves and sink. She moved her head to right, then pause for few seconds, and moved to the left. "eii.... What's this??", I believed this was the question that bothering her.

My Rottie First Day In My House

Rottweiler in short is called Rottie. Actually, Rottie sounds alike to "Roti" in Bahasa Melayu which means bun. Yeah, you can imagine the oven-fresh cooked bun every time you see a rottweiler. Then, you may forget the scaring attack ability of him.

My Rottie was born in November 2008, is a female. I have been told, if you are new to Rottie, you better get a female dog, female is less aggressive and more eager to guard your house. This is my first puppy to raise, so excited and anticipating of her growth.

She arrived my house in February 2009, so small and so fragile. She was a car sick puppy, secretes a lot of saliva during her ride in the car. She slept for the first night in the yard of her new home without whining much. Ohh.... how brave she was. Or... maybe she was just too tired of the car ride. :-)
