I'm 5 months old
Lola is 5 months old already. She has grown to 18 inch height, and 19kg in weight. I always look at her and imagine how small was she when she first came home. I feel so glad that she grows up. Actually we almost lost her in March, she suffered serious diarrhea and vomit, till required to admit to veterinary clinic for 3 days.
There, she had to take several injections, then supply with intravenous fluid (IV fluid) to avoid dehydration. including Vitamin C, anti-fever, antibiotic and etc... The Vitamin C injection is the most painful one for Lola, she cried in this injection.
She had to wear the "umbrella" liked cap on her neck to avoid her disturbing the IV fluid tube that injected to her hand.
She was diagnosed to have parvovirus with positive reaction to the detection kit. However, the doctor wasn't very convinced with the kit result after he knew that Lola just had her vaccination a week before this serious diarrhea. He assumed that the safe parvovirus from the vaccine may have turns into life virus due to her weak immune system.
Oh.. no.. everybody please don't get misunderstand and scared with the puppy vaccination, it is very low percentage that your puppy going to catch this virus from vaccination injection, very very unlikely. Just Lola is so "lucky" to catch this. Why don't she hit the jackpot instead, then can pay for her medication bill. hahaha.....
She felt so miserable when staying inside the clinic, I still remembered she whined and jumped in happiness when I brought her home from the clinic.
Repeat telling you this: I feel so glad she grows up.
